I have met some locals when out in the woods with my dog, one of whom waxed quite lyrical about the Dukes Head. As I am not really a pub officianado, like yourself. I am confident that we will probably never meet. unless, you too. walk your dog in the only good place. the very muddy woods just off Leith Road. I wanted to know the history of our village. All I have found out is that it was once part ofCapel, and seems to be famous for being close to somewhere else.
