LIke you I&#039;m interested to learn more about BG. I&#039;m speaking with a village &#039;authority&#039; sometime soon so hope to gain some further insight. Check back for an update. (for now, though, I&#039;ve started a &#039;History&#039; page to get us going. 		<description>I have lived in  Beare Green for over 3 weeks now and doubt if I will be visiting  the Dukes head. I have met some locals when out in the woods with my dog, one of whom waxed quite lyrical about the Dukes Head. As I am not really a pub officianado, like yourself. I am confident that we will probably never meet. unless, you too. walk your dog in the only good place. the very muddy woods just off Leith Road.
I wanted to know the history of our village. All I have found out is that it was once part ofCapel, and seems to be famous for being close to somewhere else.</description>
